Highly Absorbing, Flexible Solar Cells With Silicon Wire Arrays Created

This new solar cell is created by a team of scientists at California Institute of Technology. This new solar cell that is created only uses 2% of silicon (1/50 of silicon compared to the conventional solar cell) and the rest is polymer.
